Matt Damon Launches Safe Water Organization

I just read the latest Esquire Magazine and there is a good story about Matt Damon and his pet project called water.org.
While I was in Eastern Africa, there was a very large desalinization process in place. It took water straight from the Indian Ocean. This process utilized Reverse Osmosis and provided water for thousands each day. This process on a grander scale could provide water for such drought and famine stricken places as Darfur.
But in fact, all places where there are water shortages for cities or farmland can benefit from this process. However, due to the cost of these large-scale setups, it is cost-prohibitive.
